Returning for June 2022 after one year!

This classic swamp-dwelling species is one of the few that will develop basal rosettes when larger, giving the appearance of a carpet of pitchers with few or no leaves. It grows easily in acidic media with high temperatures and humidity.

History: First introduced in March 2006 on our old PDF price list, after we closed our lowland nurseries in 2012 it became unavailable until added to the shop in Nov 2021.

Description: This is the most vigorous clone selected out of a batch of six with similar appearance. It has the classic red-speckled colouration on a light green background and pure lime-green peristome.

Photo notes: Plants shipped are of the same clone as shown in these photos. The first photo shows basal rosettes that will form if the growing-tip of the main leader of the plant is regularly cut back.
