Nepenthes robcantleyi x spectabilis | > 15 cm

Returning for Sept 2022 after 9 months!

This cross has a broad peristome which remains flared for some time after opening, before finally rolling back. 

The female parent is a giant Nepenthes robcantleyi, which although one of the original six plants we raised from seeds, has no cultivar name at this time (Oct 2021). The male parent is our unique and lovely ‘Perkinson Giant’ form of Nepenthes spectabilis, selected from those sometimes sold under BE-3178.

History: First introduced in Jan 2017 through our old PDF pricelist, it was added to our shop for the first time in Aug 2020.

Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen parent plants.
