Nepenthes spectabilis | Sibuatan | 8 - 10 cm

Returning for April 2022 after more than one year!

A striking species from Northern Sumatra. There are several different forms, but all have intricately striped pitchers with and peristomes.

History: First introduced around 2006 on our old PDF price list. It last went out of stock in March 2021 and returned for April 2022.

Description: This is a relatively compact and elegant form of the species. As one of the photos shows, it’s an extremely prolific producer of pitchers, and benefits from being regularly cut back to produce numerous growing points. The pitchers are cylindrical and richly colored with black spots.
