Originating from the Barison range in Sumatra, this selected clone produces large purple pitchers, as shown in the photos.

History: First introduced on our old PDF price list in 2002, it was rarely in stock. It was first added to the online shop in Dec 2020 and last sold out in June 2021.

Description: This clone was carefully selected over 20 years from amongst many, as being the most vigorous, as well as having the deepest and most uniform purple colouration.

Climate: Highland

Variable species from Sumatra. Most varieties have a wide peristome and red to purple pitcher colouration. Variete with deep red pitchers.
