This is probably the easiest to grow of all Nepenthes species for most people. It produces tough waxy pitchers and is temperature tolerant, making it an ideal windowsill plant. Of all the variations within the species, we find the Madja-as form to be particularly distinctive in both form and coloration. 

History: First introduced to cultivation in early 2008 on our old PDF price list as a random selection from many clones, it was later reduced to a single selected clone and was first added to the online shop in March 2019. It last went out of stock in May 2021 and returned for Feb 2022.

Description: Originating from Mt. Madja-as, in our opinion this is the most distinctive and attractive form of the species as the photos clearly show.
