Nepenthes mirabilis var. globosa / 'Viking' x hamata | 7 - 10 cm

This is a striking, vigorous and distinctive hybrid and a prolific producer of pitchers. The huge wings of the female parent are apparent, as is the distinctive ribbed peristome conferred by the male parent.

The female parent is a selected clone of the beautiful Nepenthes ‘Viking’ (more correctly known as Nepenthes mirabilis ‘var. globosa’) selected from those sold under BE-3394 and the male parent is a selected seed-grown clone of the Gng. Tambusisi form of Nepenthes hamata.

History: First introduced to cultivation through our wholesale auctions in June 2019.

Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen parent plants.
