The upper pitchers of both parent species have exceptional peristomes and now that we are seeing upper pitchers, they have turned out to be as spectacular as hoped. This item consists of a random selection from the two most vigorous clones we have isolated, and so far as is known the two clones look similar to one another.
The female parent is the Bareo squat form of N. veitchii and the male parent is N. platychila, selected for vigor from the assorted clones formerly sold under BE-3266.
History: First introduced in April 2007.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen parent plants.
